Kelli Samuelson

From bike racer, to team owner of the Professional women's team LA Sweat. I come from a long history in the outdoor industry and I aim to bridge the gap for the female voice in cycling and sports. While I miss the rigors of training on the road, My focus on my team and development for young athletes has allowed her to pursue other avenues in cycling to help grow the sport. I enjoy mountain biking, bikepacking, touring, etc if it has two wheels and pedals I'm into it. In general, I aim to be a positive light and role model within my sport. My life has taken many twists and turns since I started cycling in earnest and 10 years ago I could not have imagined I would be owning a professional women's team, and so much more.

What are you thoughts on the following:

Why are you excited to team up with Wholesome Bakery?

"Wholesome Bakery has been my absolute favorite gluten free brand long before there was even a bakery location! I was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease and became lactose intolerant before there were lot's of gluten free options and Wholesome Bakery's cookie sandwiches were among the first cookies I could eat! They opened my eyes to a world I thought I had lost when I was diagnosed and I was SO EXCITED when they opened a bakery location and have been a regular ever since!"

What does eating sustainably mean to you?

"Eating sustainably means being purposeful with how and what I consume. My diet forces me to eat certain foods and requires me to be more intentional about what I put in my body and although it can be difficult at times, I'm grateful because eating with purpose helps me feel vibrant and fuels my active lifestyle.

Are there any products that you are looking forward to trying or are an absolute favorite?

"Literally EVERYTHING is my favorite, but I'm most particularly obsessed with the Fudge Brownies, Country Oat Loaf, Hand Pies, and the Apple Cardamom Cake! Those are my go-tos when I order online or pop into the bakery."
